Our Story

Sam Sam was founded in 2026 by Marlot de Vries and Eva Cremers, two illustrators who share a love for art and thoughtful design. We aim to create everyday items with character, offering a curated collection of clothing, bags, accessories, homeware and art prints.

We met over 12 years ago at art academy and have been working in the creative industry ever since. Today, Marlot is a photographer and illustrator and Eva is a renowned 3D artist and director. Our work takes us around the world, exposing us to new places, cultures and ways of living.

With Sam Sam, we want to bring those experiences together in collections inspired by the places that stay with us. Each collection is rooted in a different destination and tells its own story. The full collection is developed entirely by the two of us. We create everything ourselves, from the first sketches and illustrations to the product design, photography and creative direction. We aim to create long-lasting pieces that make everyday essentials feel a little less ordinary. Timeless staples you'll reach for again and again. We value thoughtful design over fleeting trends, creating pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, individuality and attention to detail.

Every item is produced in small batches — handcrafted by skilled artisans in India and Turkey, where we carefully select premium materials that not only look beautiful but are made to stand the test of time.
